Pakistan Air Force — GD Pilot, Aero Engineering & Airmen
Entry as GD Pilot, Aeronautical Engineer, Air Defence, Admin, Education, Medical or as an Airman. GD Pilot adds the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) — the toughest single filter in Pakistani military selection.
Eligibility
- — GD Pilot: FSc pre-engineering / A-Levels with 60%+, age 16–22 years, unmarried.
- — Aeronautical Engineering: FSc pre-engineering with high marks, age 16–22.
- — Airmen: Matric/Intermediate with the required marks in the relevant trade, age 16–22.
- — Pakistani national; height and medical standards are strictly applied.
Physical & medical standards
- — GD Pilot male height minimum 5 ft 4 in with proportionate weight and sitting height limits.
- — Uncorrected vision 6/6 required for GD Pilot; no colour blindness.
- — 1.6 km run in 8 minutes, push-ups, sit-ups and chin-ups.
- — Dental, ENT, spine and cardiac screening at the final medical board.
