Pakistan Navy — Commission & Sailor Entry
Officer entry through the Cadet Scheme (Operations, Weapon Engineering, Marine Engineering, Supply, Education, Medical) and sailor entry as Sailor Batch. Same elimination chain as the Army with a naval swimming and sea-fitness emphasis.
Eligibility
- — Cadet Scheme: FSc pre-engineering with 60%+ (or relevant Bachelor), age 16–21 years, unmarried.
- — Short Service Commission: relevant Bachelor/Master, age as per branch.
- — Sailor entry: Matric/Intermediate with the required marks, age 16–22.
- — Pakistani national; provincial and regional quota is applied.
Physical & medical standards
- — Male height minimum 5 ft 4 in; female minimum 5 ft.
- — 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups and chin-ups at the recruitment centre.
- — Swimming is not required at entry for all branches but is taught and tested during training.
- — Strict eyesight standards for Operations branch; colour blindness is disqualifying for several branches.
